This FiveByFour shoot was amazing. Chris, Emily and their beautiful kids were fantastic on the day, and genuinely excited by being photographed on FiveByFour. We used the beaches of Porthcawl as our backdrop. We started on the promenade where we placed the rocks of the headland and the ocean behind, to provide a stunning natural background. The moody skies and dark rocks looked really dramatic in the first shot.
From there we headed down to put Porthcawl pier in the background.
After that, we went down onto the rocks, ice creams in hand. The kids loved it, and the pier in the background really set the scene and made a bold statement about the Seage’s hometown. FiveByFour is perfect for family portraiture. The final image we captured on FiveByFour is my favourite image yet that I have made with this photographic medium.
